An Apprenticeship at the Finishing Trades Institute of BC is an opportunity for students to get practical and important hands-on training in the trade of their choosing.

In order to do this, the FTI BC makes sure apprentices in all the trades—Painting and Decorating, Glazing, Drywall Finishing, and Wall and Ceiling Installer—are using top quality materials.

It is because of this that the FTI is thankful to its generous sponsors, General Paint, Tremco, and CGC for continually supporting the future of skilled trades.

Tremco provides sealant to our Glazing Apprentices. CGC supplies SYNKO texturing, taping, and all-purpose mud to Drywall Apprentices, and General Paint provides Painting and Decorating Apprentices with brushes and a wide selection of paint.
